jbeats bar for f4
jbeats bar for f4
i cant find any info about were to buy one so i might just build one....checked 905 site and they dont have it on there. Anybody have any pics of theres so i have an idea of how i am going to build it...the thing i am not sure about is where to support it and weld it so it holds up strong...any help would be great. thanks
Re: jbeats bar for f4
that looks really simple..did you weld in any cross braces or is that not necessary? is your round bar solid or hollow? what size are the braces running along the subframe that you drilled through? thanks alot

the 905 that i had was solid but the mxd was hallow. does not matter though as soon as you drag them they wear pretty quick 11/2 to 2" flat bar will work they are not for parking on or anything
Re: jbeats bar for f4
that is a real nice setup...where can i find it i didnt think it was on the site....how is it braced up? i want something strong...i was thinkin about puttin in some crossbraces somehow where it bolts up to the subframe but im not sure if it would do much...right now the crossbrace right under the seat hooks is cracked on both sides and needs to be welded...any input on bracin up the subframe or should i just baby it more....that mxd is really nice but wouldnt i have to trim the rear end of the tail on an f4...its more rounded than your pics?

mine was too just scrape it until it gets to the shape of your bar. i would get your subframe brace welded. but no bracing for the bar is needed

If the 905 was only an inch shorter it would fit perfect under the tail w/out cutting.
Here are some pics of the jbeats I just finished putting on tonight... too bad it's 15 degrees and the lots are still packed w/ ice and snow. I'm dyin to try it out.
I also used an extra 954 tail light i had layin around... it actually fits up in there like it was made for it.
