haha my friends first bike was a 2003 katana 600. It was not only a piece, but when it got wrecked and we geared it 1 down 5 up it still wouldnt wheelie in 1st even when you red-lined it dumped the clutch, while standing on the rear pegs its was sad...

i could bounce 2nd gear( stock gearing) on my old ladies f2 and wheelie for miles. 1st gear definately wasnt hard. its not the bike, almost never the bike but always skill and experience.

I never did manage to get it up. One friend did but it was the sorriest wheelie I have ever seen. I would bounce it and dump the clutch still no dice. My friend who did it is lanky as hell and basically did the same but muscled the **** outta it. Its easier to wheelie one of those gay vespa knock-offs than it was this.
