So I was lookin at the fi 12 bars and saw they had two different versions...I know the pro series is shorter but what are the reasons for having a shorter bar?

My tail is gone now but I will want to put a minty one on it sooner.

Also are the 905 bars good too?

 

get the round bar and a mint tail and rock it

 

the normal bar will mount right aginst the stock tail
905 bars are to big
shorter bars are better for merk steps and look sic when you scrape 1oclock

 

If its ur first bar then get the regular one. with the pro you have to cut down ur tail.

 

Well my tail is already cut down so which should I get? I keep scrapin subframe so I think a bar is somethin I need right now.

 

Go with the pro bar for sure. the regular one is GAY long. its like a 10:30 bar

 

the pro one sits at perfect 12. STAY FAR AWAY FROM GARBAGE A$$ 905 BARS. FI bars are much better

 

the pro bar is a real bar or whatever. sits right exactly at 12. The regular one is a gay bar made for posers and foot in the bar junkies who want a bar but dont want to cut their tail.

 

So Im guessin the pro bar will not work a stock tail cuz it will be too short?

I thought that even the standard bar was setup to sit at 12 just right.

Is it not possible to do foot in bar **** with a pro bar?

No you have to cut your tail with the pro bar. If you cut it enough you can get your foot in there. I cut mine to where its even with the rear seat

 

So I guess Im goin to order up a pro bar...thanks guys.

 

dude it doesnt matter if it was made outta tin foil. i would get the pro bar because pro always means better. duh......

Do you have any pictures of this round bar and where can you get it from?? I should be getting an order across from the UK early next year.. I don't need a 12 bar yet as I'm not that good yet but it'd save on shipping to get the cage and bar at same time... can't find anything about these round bars though?

 

Ok so one more question...will the pro bar come with a template or where I will need to drill for it? Should I drill it then put the screws in and call it a day or have it welded in place?

I just want the pro bar to be right at 12 and not shorter so thats why the difference between this and the standard bar has me a little confused.

 

FI bars all come with easy to understand instructions. Not a template, but it tells step by step where and how to install and drill. Top notch

The pro bar sits exactly at 12.....the regular bar sits well before 12, more like 11.
