who does em and doesnt need a 954 front end

long story short i wanna sell my 954 and get an f4i cause gonna start to get insurance under my name and 599cc is cheaper than 954cc's by far!

and plus i weigh 130 and am actually bored of all this power with a +13 sprocket!!!





so whos rolling sick stoppies on stock front f4i?

 

throw a michelin pilot power on the front rim n you'll have no problemo.

 

i could have sworn someone told me merk was rollin 400 footies on a stock one. i got all winter to think about this anyways cause weather is fu cked up here

STEERING DAMPER I run the 954 front suspension, but my friend endos with f4i set up and a good GPR. there shouldnt be any tank slap problems with a damper

 

yeah, dan said he had 500 foot i believe, and merk rolls em, someone else too.........
i know that after riding my bike (929 swapped) then getting on one that isnt, i can roll em okay after some adjustment, but nowhere near as good as on my bike

 

and that friend would be........me! haha, mine aren't sick but just started endo's about a month and a half ago and can roll about 250' feel's fine to me gpr 1.0 .

 

i could barely turn ur bars with ur GPR on 8. i dig it.

Ya want to explain that one? Is this just an excuse for the F4I bandwagan jump?

 

f4i is basically the same front end as a 900rr i think . Guys like matt gorka used to go 1000+ feet on 900rr's

 

doesn't brando have stock too he rolls nasty endos

 

front ends aren't the same, different size fork seals and everything.......the 900RR forks ARE almost identical to 03/04 600RR forks though, cause my fork seals are the same used for 900RR's

If you look at stock F4i forks next to stock 03/04 600RR forks they look like they belong on an old 125 dirtbike. Oddly small diameter.

 

its more that just the seals.. or if they look the same.. they all have different spring rates different valving differend amount of fluid then on top of that the tripple clamps all have diffetern rakes... so do the head tubes on the frame..

 

he also got broke off on a stoppie on an f4i front end... the f4i front end will do nothing but attempt to kill you if you want to do long stoppies.....

 

man u can rock anything wat if nobody woulda thought to put a diff front end on them nobody would know the diffrence

 

Rommel has been rolling on f4i for at least over a year at 500+
