Is This Safe...i need help bad
ok my buddy bent his front rim in a wreck..its not bad ..he just bent the lip towards the outside... could we put it in a vice and fix it enough to ride slow wheelies?? he is gunna start slipping his cluch with me. what do yall think? This is temporary of course
Re: Is This Safe...i need help bad
i would smash it back into place with a hammer.. my friend went over a curb along time ago in a mall parking lot and bent the beed so bad on the rim it wouldn't hold air.. so we found a stone and hit it a couple times like a cave man n he rocked it for a couple months like that... it was n f4i so i think that has alot to do with it..

front rim?...slow wheelies? hmmm, don't worry about it. the front wheel will be in the air most of the time. you might bend it more while learning and slamming down hard anyways. but if it's bothering you, just hammer the lip back with a hammer and check the air pressure

If it's not bent bad you can beat it with a hammer.Just use some wood block between the rim and the sledgehammer. Support the rim so it's stabile. but the block of wood on the bend part and beat it with sledgehammer. it goes like 0.1mm per hit, but it goes.
Stock rims are incredible hard and flexible stuff.
some car rim shops can also straighten rims.
Even racers straighten the rims.
