636 VS F4i

I have been stunting with ZX9R 99' for a summer, but seems like this kawi is not quite for stunting, so now I am looking out for one of these:
As I understand the usable years are from 02-04 for 636 an 01-03 for F4i (due to frames and muffler location)

I have heard that 636 has problems with oil in airbox does F4i has any? or other probz?

What would you suggest me?

Re: 636 VS F4i

Nah, I think you are pretty correct Sketchy. Both have minor problems that are pretty easy to fix, and both are pretty rock solid. My friend Zackie Chan has a 636 and he has flat out "Gorilla Slammed" (as he would say) his bike and its rode away. I've also seen F4i's tumble and the only thing that broke was a front brake lever. It really is all about personal preference b/c both seem to have great control and stability with a lot of versatility.

Re: 636 VS F4i

I own both, love both.. just fix the airbox prob on 636 its all good, ape cam chain on f4i its all good, both rule. sit on both, ride both, take the one that feels best to you. 636 IMO sits up lil higher and is allot better for endos tho.

Re: 636 VS F4i

Ive riden a f4i i think theyre underpowered even with a bigger sprocket. The 636 has perfect power. The oil in the airbox is a problem with alot of bikes not just the 636 or the f4i and its an easy fix. I prefer the 636 cuz i own one, i like the f4i too cuz its a lil lighter and smaller but yet underpowered and u can put hondas thru hell

If you've tried the search feature lately you'd know that it sucks d*ck.

Any searches w/ popular words like f4i or 636 will leave you w/ the error msg that says there's too many results, try again. The thing is worthless...

If the F4i could match the 636's torque it wouldnt even be a competition.

Re: 636 VS F4i

I say they are both great. F4i if you arent flexible , alot more freedom to move around on the tank and pull your legs through stock but a simple clip-on mod (thanks to Zackie Chan :YEAH ) solves that issue with the 636. I like my 636 better for everything else and I have had both bikes.
