which 12 bar?
Re: which 12 bar?
id say go with a f i they seem to be the best lately . but we warned my friend ordered one , and it took like 2 months to get hear and teh scrape plate was alot thinner than they used to be . ohh and make sure to get the pro bar so u dont have to cut it down
Re: which 12 bar?
the F.I. pro bar is 4'' shorter so its a true 12 . the normal one is more liek 11 . as to teh powers bar , im not sure about your bike , but on my friends f4i it was way to short . when ever you would try to scrape , there was too much weight on the bar and it would stop the bike . i dont know if they redesigned it or not , but this bar was over a year old , prob closer to two
Re: which 12 bar?
FI is the only way to go
Re: which 12 bar?
depends.... if you're just llearning go w/ a jbeats bar from 905 for sure. you dont get that corkscrew action when you're slightly off balance like you do w/ a flat bar.... but if you got that down get a freestyle bar. good people to deal w/ to
Re: which 12 bar?
When I bought my 929, there was a powers 12 bar already on it.
The thing stuck waaaaayyyyyy out there, it was def more like a 11 bar. I cut about 4 inches out of the thing, so it is now right flush with the tail. Strong bar, bolts up nice.
I have no experience with anything else, I just dont know why this bar was so freakin long to begin with.

Re: which 12 bar?
Not sure if its the same but my friend bought an FI for his 954 and it warped in 1 day, FI wouldnt warrenty it so he bought another. Same thing a few scrapes and it warped upward so much the tail was touching the ground. Finally after showing FI pics of the 2 warped to **** bars they sent him a pro bar for free............No problems with the PRO or the regular FI on my 636
And the PRO on the 954 scrapes much smooter Im cutting down my 636 bar for next season......

Re: which 12 bar?
id go with 905. i had a fi bar. sold it cause it was too long. i just bought a new cut down fi have yet to use it though. sits nice and straight. 905 seems to have less problems and better service.

Re: which 12 bar?
You have 2 options here... either (A) you want to keep your tail section intact and don't want to cut it up or (B) you don't really give a flying F U C K and will hack your tail section up to put whatever on there. Now, if you are like me and want to run a full tail section NO COMPANY OFFERS A BAR like this... so do what I did and build your own.
I have provided pictures to show you exactly what I did... and as you can see the plate is very close to my tail section and its a TRUE 12 O'clock, none of that bs 11:30 $HIT!!! You can see the two inner rails run inside the subframe and connect to the rear peg mounts, and then I welded a lateral bar for side-to-side support. It cost me $40 in materials and about 2 hours of my time and that thing scraped PERFECT. The trick to putting the plate on is actually put the bike on 12, tack weld the plate on there, then put the bike back down and weld away!!!
Hope this helps dude... it was super easy, and all you have to do is cut up your undertail a bit... no biggy. PM me if you have anymore questions.
