will the inverted fork set up for an 05 600rr bolt up just like a 929/954 front end would, do the head bearings and steering post match up? just wanna know before i buy this stuff from a guy who wrecked his.

Would the 600RR front end be better because it wouldnt screw with the stance of the bike then?

Im assuming it wouldnt simply because theyre both 600s but then again they are 2 very different bikes.

Unless the forks are Longer top to bottom isnt the rake in the neck of the frame? im bored sorry if i am wrong. Maybe I should sell my spare 929 front and get the new 600rr ones for my f4I!. good thread man!

 

do the 600RR bearings match up or do need to do any modifications like on a 929(tapered bearings).... caus the 600rr already has ball bearings in it

 

use bearings and races from the 600rr.

 

k caus i couldn't get the top tripple tree on... the ignition was wedging against where the steering lock on the neck of the frame was. does anyone have a pic of the 600rr races from a honda fichefinder

 

grind off the f2 steering lock brace on the frame

 

well i knew i was gonna have to do that but everyone that had a 929/954 front end said they didnt have to grind theirs off. so i was just wonderin if that was normal....
