looks like i'll probably get a powers or mxd cage too, once i'm not broke anymore.

 

i have a fi cage on mine ive had a 905 and mxd the fi is the best of the three in my view also anyone looking to get a 04 6rr i getting rid of mine db bars/ hb/ lots of extra parts

 

i think FI would of been the better choice but i could'nt wait 2 months to get it!!

 

on my last 905 cage, i just wore little soccer shin guards. they were like 5 bucks.

 

i have an aftermarket exhuast will a 12 bar fit with my arata full ti system????
or will i have to cut the end of my exhuast off . what bar do you guys use.

 

put the stock can in, use the money for stunt parts. no need for a full system to stunt with. That means u have a power commander too right>? unnecessary power. Trade it for parts! But to answer you question I think if it's longer than stock you might have a problem. I have a 905 bar on my rr and it is really close to the exhaust tip



( i have a pcommander in my f4I everyone tells me to take it out. I think i like it but not sure what's its like without it. soooo one day ill find out lol)

 

12 bar will fit......but go ahead and get some money outta your exhaust....you'll want it quieter anyways if you wanna ride lots at night!!! I like my power commander in mine, but most likely because I'm already used to it.

 

does anyone know if the 929 or 954 front forks fit on the 600rr like they will on the f4i or did they beef em up on the rr

dropprd my bike today doin seat standers (no cage) ouch gonna be costly need a left cover cracked it and leaked oil everywhere. Plastics are trashed with rash but no cracks gonna get a cage but could wait......... impatient = $$$$
im gonna go with the powers cage and bar the bar looks like it sticks out from the exhaust futher

 

anybody hear of a throtle control mod ????

 

you gotta go right to the ''real'' idle adjustment. the idle that is on the bike is just rich/lean adj.take the throttle bodies off and take the set screw out that is set for stock idle and replace it with a f4 idle cable. 1/4 turn and it revs to 3000. its some work involved but its well worth it.

 

you're on the ball!!!! its definately well wroth it, alot smoother and idle sets alot more consistent and faster



as for the left cover, hit me with a PM....got a blown motor wsa gonna rebuild, but if worth it I'll start parting it out and selling it off.....left cover I think is perfect, right is scratched, if anyone wants parts off it let me know

holy **** htat thing looked mint......always feel bad seeing a bike that looks good go down.....when learning I think its easier to go ahead and rattle can that ***** to make it easier to see it go down....then rock nice fairing when you get to the point where you are gonna destroy them

 

the bike was in great shape not anymore.... lesson learned must have cage
