H.A.I. hand brake setup...anyone use it?

I just picked up the banjo fitting and braded line on the weekend. Can't get the thing to stay pressurised. I have to pump it at least 4 times for it to actually garb, and then it only stays pressurised for about 30 seconds after I let go. I bled the lines continuosly for half an hour and still no difference. Both front and rear masters are good, any ideas or is this normal?

heres what you do. drain your whole system out and put cleen fluid in. when you bleed it out start from top to bottom crack the bolt at your upper master cylinder and repaet till you have alittle pressure in the rear one. now crack the bolt at the rear and keep doing it till you have nothing but fluid coming out (but rember you have to keep pumping the upper master cylinder to fill the lower one) now bleed the rear caliper out and do so till you have nothing but fluid coming out. repeat thes over 2 times to inshure there is no air and you will be good also another tip put a plumming pipe clamp over the bolt on the black fitting and the master cylinder because the black fitting will push up under pressure. if you do all of this you will be good to go

Damn...never thought about that. It is flipped upsidedown. I wasted a whole bottle of fluid for nothing. Thanx, I'll do it

yeah man, that what we alll run in o-town, we wouldnt sell it if it didnt work.... not to be an ***, but id say 99% sure you just didnt get all the air out yet, i always take off the bottom bleeder screw all the way and push down really hard with your finger over the hole, while someone else pumps, then just bleed normally once youve got all the lines full, i just did one last week and no lie it took about 2 mins. start to finish using that method good luck and post up what you think about it once youve got all the air out

Y'probably right. Ex-knee dragger, I like my brakes touchy, but this upsidedown master is a first for me.

929 front master turned upside down :YEAH

i think it is 99.99 for thr fitting, line and banjo bolts and all you need is the front master and use the rear res for the front

We sell a handbrake kit, the kit includes the adapter, steel lines and all fitting needed to get the system to work. That kit sells for 99.99 +tax. I would suggest using a 929/954 master if you like Touchy brakes and a gixxer if you like softer brakes. Shoot the shop a call if you have any other questions, i m there all the time
