ASV and MSR clutch levers
ASV and MSR clutch levers
Alright now I know that the MSR Raptor Clutch and Perch make is easier to pull in the clutch (even using just ur pinky is what ive been told) and my question is does the ASV do the same thing, but just made better quality? or is the ASV clutch lever just a shorty lever that folds away.

Re: ASV and MSR clutch levers
I have both.
Raptor is easiest to pull in, but its delicate and will brake.
ASV is easier than stock (by alot) but not as easy as the raptor. It never brakes though, diesel as hell.

ASV definately dont make it easier to pull in, but the thing is built! f those msr tin foil levers............................... moose makes some reduction cable thingy that goes on the cable and I believe more or less does the same thing as a msr pull reduction wise.....

the one i got is like the msr just not as fragile has two holes on bottom to put cable to make a easy pull
Re: ASV and MSR clutch levers
i just know that msr easy pull stuff is nice in the lot, but once you get in the street clutchin up tank **** in like second and third....it just doesnt cut it unless it is in the normal hole instead of the easy one..... it lets the clutch slip... doodle and I both had the same problems... then when I changed mine and went to put it back on the damn thing broke.....soooooooo.... five year warranty it is!!!!! holla!!!!

Re: ASV and MSR clutch levers
My MSR raptor & perch is junk man. Everyone said it would pull a hell of a lot easier, and that **** aint very easy at all.
Its a little bit easier then stock, but it still takes 2 fingers, where Id rather just use 1.
Maybe I ****ed something up installing it, I dunno...

Well damn there it is, my stepdad rode the F4i Sat. to make sure things were in order with it, and he said it felt like the clutch was slipping.
Its this damn raptor lever.
Re: ASV and MSR clutch levers
I had a msr on my 954 for about a month and it was slightly easier to pull than stock...I sold the bike and when I went to take it off, I stripped the junk @ss aluminum threads. It was a $40 piece of garbage.
Re: ASV and MSR clutch levers
I have to agree the MSR raptor clutch lever are junk I had one on a 636 didn’t make a big difference for pulling back and broke very easy those things have got to be made out of the cheapest aluminum.
Here is a link for Moose but I think I will go with ASV next time I end up needing another clutch lever.
