so i just started getting my wheelies down /back break question HELP!!
ok so i just started getting my wheelies up... i do on/off in first gear on my F4i some people say not to worry about the back break and just let go of the gas and she will come down, but others say keep athe back break covered!! ok when do i know i'm too high, cuz ofcourse right now i feel like i'm to high but i'm probaby only at like 10 oclock or so.... and how do i use the back break if i'm going over, do i just barely tap it or what>>i went 1 tooth down in the front a month ago and i'm just gettting those wheelies down...its not easy even with 1 tooth down....but i'm ****'n terrified of going over
i took off my side and rear faring just in case

wheelie/brake
Well I am still gettting good at wheelies, I am trying second gears now but in first no matter what height I got i just needed to cut the throddle and it would all come down. the highest i got was about ten o'clock but since that scared the **** outta me i just slammed it down. Good luck keep it on one wheel.

Careful letting it fall back down hard, you'll need new fork seals before you know it.....:twelve

My front suspention is set to full hard so even when i screw up a wheelie, it wont bottom out. Think i can still blow a fork seal??

1) keep the fork tubes clean. most of the time the leaking is due to the forks being over compressed and dirt and debri working past the dust cap into the actual resevoir area.
2) if it starts to leak, clean the tubes, pop the dust cap up, spray a little silicone spray on the seal and in the area around it. take a small diameter feeler guage (the flat type) and gently go in between the seal and fork slider tube, and work any debri and dust out. pump the forks up and down afterwards, repeat. Has worked for me in the past, if it gets really bad though, you may be in for new seals.

take your time and get used to going high. If it feels like your gonna tip over just hit the back brake. It will come down fast. Just keep gettin that front higher and higher until it feels like you're weightless. You will know when you are at the balance point. Im no pro, but i can get there. Practice doing a wheelie and hitting the back brake. It will get you used to the feeling. Hope this helps.
