Finally

So I have been learning brake control on a 50 and a 80, and i finally learned it. I hop on my big bike and its like second nature, I threw it up and just automatically started using the back brake. But heres the deal, after about 10 minutes of doing it i threw it up and went to hit the back brake and it felt like there was no fluid in it at all. Luckily it is geared like a b***h so the engine brake brought me back down. I let it sit for a while and it was working fine. How can i stop this from happening? I want to be riding again as soon as possible. Thanks

Hey Mike,
So you go past BP and tap the brake. I got that. But when you tap it, are you suppose to drop below BP and let the steady throttle bring you back up? Or are you suppose to tap it back to BP and let it slowly climb back past BP till you tap it again? I was messing with brake control today but noticed I was riding the brake. After a few minutes, my pads were smoking. Definitely not doing that again. Z-unit in the other brake control thread said idle is the best learning tool. Do you agree?

By the way, check out the "how did you learn slow wheelies" poll in the Stunt Discussion folder. There's a lot of good advice. Z-unit, thanks for the tips.

Re: Finally

I wasn't using idle. My idle was set normal. I was trying for throttle/brake. Does idle help that much?

Re: Finally

least hes not FIB-n it.

learn to use the brake to smooth out to bp at idle speed and try to move your body back and forward insted of gas/brake.
