can cbr rims fit on a crf 450 if so how

 

Okay, I have never heard of anyone doing this before, ever.... But, If it was possible, the first thing to check is to see if the wheel, really the hub portion, will fit between the swingarm and the forks. If it will fit, holler, it's possible. Next, because dirtbike axles are skinnier than streetbike axles, you need one of two things.... One) find a bearing shop, and get "custom" (they may stock the neccessary size) bearings that fit in the streetbike wheels, and fit the dirtbike axle. If this proves to be impossible to do, you can always have a machine shop turn a spacer that will go in the wheel, and the axle goes through that.... But Like I said, none of that may work due to clearance issues.... I say just run some street tires with tubes.....or drop the cash on motard wheels...

 

no way would a rear wheel clear and the only way i can think u could put the fornt on is if u changed the whole front end. maybe u could get the wheel into the forks but u would have to fab new brake brackets and prolly change the axle as described above. waaaay to much work if u ask me, get motard wheels

 

and cbr rims weigh alot more that motard rims im pretty sure...
