Question about the Idle screw for a gsxr 600?

Is there a way to put the idle **** that is on the 750's on a 600? I know it real easy to turn up the idle on the 750's, can it be done on a 600 bike?

use a cbr 929 idle adjuster, you just need to tap the bracket for the different thread

I know where it is, but It's not easily accessable, like the 750's.

Go buy a 1/4 inch thick rubber fuel hose from Auto Zone. Tell them you want 1 1/2 feet long. It shouldn't cost you more than $3.00. Go home lift up your tank and push the hose over the idle screw. It will be a snugg fit so don't worry about if coming off. Once you get in on there, run it through the bike to where it pops out of the bottom left fairing. Then you can trim the fuel hose to your liking with a razor blade.

I did this on my 02 gsxr 1000 and never had a problem

for a spendy way to do it you can get the parts off of a 750, they'll work too.

'00 750 idle ajduster or one from an SV or an older SRAD all work, they are about a foot long and replace the little idel adjust screw that is on the left side of the FI... go get one and start tearing **** up!
