what idle are you rocking ?
Re: what idle are you rocking ?
good question, and how do ppl feel about the idle on the 929, some say to get a 900rr idle screw, others say a srad gixxer screw.. i haven't adjusted mine yet.. i want to learn stock geared and no idle up, workin good so far...but i think it'll help me get below a steady 10mph... so yeah, suggestions would be good
Re: what idle are you rocking ?
2000 for everything on my f4i.
I used to bump it up or down depending on what I was doing, but got sick of it and just run low idle cause it works better for most things. I ordered some new gearing -1+4 and will probably end up shaving another 500 or so rpms off what I am using now. If I need more speed, I just use the throttle.

Would increasing my idle help me wheelie better on a Ninja 250? Everytime good stunters get on my bike and wheelie they all crank the idle up high... Maybe it makes it easier to shfit or something why would they do it? (I've got first gear wheelies on lock right now but I can't / haven't tried shifting to second yet because I'm scared)
