Need to see F4i with Freestyle Cage pics PLEASE!!!
I tried to install my cage on my new F4i...it doesn't fit. Not any fault of Freestyle I am sure...maybe I am missing the correct way here. But to me it appears that my slider position is much further forward than normal. Therefore the side support bars that connect at the subframe won't reach.
I have Japanese spec 2003 F4i Valentino Edition....does any one know what's up?? Can some post pics of thier F4i with a freestyle cage installed!?
Thanks!!!

Re: Need to see F4i with Freestyle Cage pics PLEASE!!!
That is the position that the previous owner had his sliders....there is no other spot to mount them. Other pics I have seen show the slider mounted almost deirectly above the case. But upon removing the fairings there are no other mounts to use?!
Re: Need to see F4i with Freestyle Cage pics PLEASE!!!
Ok fellas it's finished thanks for the help! Perfect fit....the holes that I have in the previous pics where already there when I got it...I just stuck the old sliders back in there for now....when I paint it again next week I will get the guy to plastic weld the holes and smooth it over......thanks for all the help!
Doodle...if it did go where the position was of the original sliders on this bike...it seems like the cage would actually protect better and more vitals?!

I just run these two pegs welded together. So far its a pretty strong design, friend ran this on his gsxr all last year with a ton of hard crashes and no troubles. I might make a loop for it sometime but not unless i can find a good way to attach it to the center stand mounts. A loop that just hangs like the fi does is not a strong point.

are you worried abour ripping out the mount threads? or is this prevented somehow? or have you just been lucky so far?
