i know its been asked a millon times, but, ive searched and cant find ****. what all do i need for the conversion?

does a f4i upper fairing bolt on to a 99 side?

 

please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

side fairings are the same. upper/headlight are different but will bolt up. need subframe,tail,seats, and a bunch of other bullshit unless you wanna ghetto rig it. do a search, this **** has been asked a million times

 

so i guess this hasnt been done before or nobody really knows???????????

 

no, its just a stupid question. if you want an f4i, sell your **** and by a f4i. its not worth it to buy all that **** to convert it. youd have to swap ecu,carbs for fi, etc.

again, if you look hard enough, this has been asked before

you can't make an f4 engine into an f4i engine, already tried every thing bolts up except for this ignition sensor that goes in the side of the head on a f4i and the f4 has no where to put it, would have to swap out heads to make it work. TRUST ME

 

i already asked it and yes its possible but not worth it
it would cost way more than its worth.... the f4's r good as they are im no pro but i imagine it could take nething u throw at it

 

ok heres what i know, you NEED these things to make the motor an F4i...... Complete Wiring Harness, F4i Head, ECU, Throttle Bodies, and possibly Airbox, and Tank if i remember correctly(not positive on the tank), maybe even the control switches......either way, youd be better off buying a CD titled F4i, and swapping everything, or just sell yours and buy a complete F4i
