How the HELL do I clutch it up??
How the HELL do I clutch it up??
Wazz up!
I have a 2001 ZX6r, and I can do first gear wheelies all day long. I am trying to learn them in 2nd gear by clutching them up, but it seems to only wanna HOP in the air. I usually try and clutch it at about 35mph, and i nail the gas, pull in the clutch, and let it go....i either get NOTING, or just a pop up. What am i doing wrong? Am i not holding the gas hard enough after re-engaging the clutch? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have an R6.What I do is get up to 40 or so.Than I pull the clutch in a little and give it some gas. Then let the clutch out.I think the key is to slip the clutch and not to dump it and don't hit the gas before the clutch.you have to hold those rpm's when it starts to come up.
make sure you're not leaning up on the tank... doesn't take much weight up there to defeat the wheelie.... sit back and enjoy....
