Beto! Wheeling....
Alright... So I slow to a dead stop cause my stuff will not come up if I'm going even slow... I gotta be coasting near dead stop.
I sit down and pop the clutch half way up the tachometer... It comes up but before I can even begin to think what to do next I have to let off the throttle cause it gets near the reds...
Beto, How would you suggest I lean to wheelie on the 250?
Or anyone. Thanks

Re: Beto! Wheeling....
from what i have learned by asking wheelie questions is that the more you ask the dumber you look and you havent gotten closer to riding one by asking them. that goes for brake control too. just get out there and stand up and try and drop it and drop it. i asked thinking maybe i would get some advice that would make me get it easier or faster but it isnt somthing you do its getting out there and riding and getting a feel for it.

And another tip...don't call it "wheeling", ever. I get tired of people wheeling around here...
And Kelm, really man, if you want to do a sit down, just sit the hell down, pull your clutch in...don't know wtf you mean by, "I sit down and pop the clutch half way up the tachometer,"... and roll on the gas. Then...and here's the hard part...DROP YOUR CLUTCH.

i learned to wheelie on a 250..your best bet is staggerd stand up...that way you can see infront of you, plus you can bounce when you clutch it...just pratice riding around in a lot in the straggerd postion and roll on the gas and let the clutch out..its gonna feel weird as hell and it'll prolly scare you when it comes up but thats your best bet for learning

I would be much more impressed if he did ss circles with stock gearing

On a 250 You need to bring it straight to bp off the snap (or damn close), and catch it with the brake. That bike has so little power that if you dont you'll redline trying to balance it out.
Also work on standup staggered first. Sit downs are very difficult to keep going staight at first while up that high.
Here Just do this:

Good Luck
