Best Learner tool ever

I just picked up a 3 wheeler for a friend last week for $600. WOW this thing handles like a sportbike with training wheels. I highly suggest anyone picking one up if they have the chance. Ours has a rear disc brake and a clutch, and my boy got 12s in a day, and he's learning brake control on it.

Everyone makes fun of it, but everyone is on my NUTS to ride this thing. Its the most fun thing in the world. I'm putting the streetbike away for a couple weeks, this thing is too much fun.

I am with you there......For the past month while I have been putting back together my 954 I ahve been trying to get wheelies down on my Honda Elite 50 scooter......Tougher than it looks, that rear wheel is like 3inchs wide and is so unbalanced....so far I can get it about 100ft

whats up you big beautiful peice of man candy! congrats on the betrothement

check this thing out!! best purchase I EVER made. a cheesy little 3 wheeler!
The thing is LITERALLY like a sportbike with training wheels.
the pic is my boy on his 4th day on the thing. Hes got the 12oclock balance point down pat and hes balancing highchairs etc. It has a sturdy wheelie bar and it's impossible to tip it backwards. We haven't crashed it yet

everyone go get 3wheelers

To refresh everyones memory, the FEDERAL gov't outlawed the sale and manufacture of 3 wheeled ATVs in 1988. with good reason too. thats why the going value on one in running condition is about $500

we fire this sucker up and ride wheelies every day for about 45 minutes... everyone always talk crap about it, but they you cant pry people off the thing. its an awesome way to blow off steam after a day of work

turn to fast and dont counter lean then u will see why they so dangerous

and no, no stoppies u slam on the front brake and the tire just leaves a big skid mark in the driveway.....sorry dad

fromt he looks of the pic u posed its either a 85-86 250r or a 200x

and i believe they were outlawed in 87 thats why 87 models are extremely rare

Re: Best Learner tool ever

The pic of the highchair looks like an '84 X.

And they were outlawed from the US in 87, and the ban was up in '97. I think they had some '88 models in canada and what not. Also, I can almost get a stoppie going with my trike. If my rear tires werent so heavy I could probably get it up higher. Right now I have only gotten a few inches up off the ground.

Re: Best Learner tool ever

nice pics man, that bar looks way short.

how many rpm do you need to do the no handers? i crank mine up to like 4000 rpm and I can occasionally barely catch an idle wheelie. i can do it all day on a streetbike with stock idle/stock gears but the 3 wheeler is impossible!

I also did a small stoppie on mine. It was fun. I wish I didn't get rid of it.

I could ride in 5th gear hauling ***, pull in the clutch and coast it for ever.

Loved it.
