fi 12 bar

I have a 99 f4 and was wondering if i should buy the F.I. pro series bar or thes standard 12 bar. In other words should i go for the short bar or buy the longer one and cut it down later.
Let me hear your input and what you guys have done. Even if it involves a whole different brand of bar. Any recomendation would be helpful.

Re: fi 12 bar

i would go for the one that is internal and its shaped like a U, f4s arent that great on the bar so i would get that or scrape tail/subframe

Re: fi 12 bar

i got my bar from them last year when they only sold one bar but like bill said, they suck *** on the bar and your not going to be able to do anything but scrape. i cant see how there would be a difference in the bar though?? cuase the subframe is perfectly stright all the way and all you do is drill holes in it to match up with whats on the bar, so you can place it anywhere you want. but i know with some of em, like with gixxers n **** they are angled inwards to meet up with the subframe.

i think merk has an internal one, and since the F4 is carbed you would be able to do bar tricks on it anyway....so...???

I can only speculate though, i ain't go no experiences with either products...

f4 stunna, if you did it over again would you put a bar on your f4? Just wonderind if its worth it now. Can you do anything on the bar before she dies?

Re: fi 12 bar

i would do it cause i at least learned how to scrape smoothly. i want to get an f4i sometime soon though. but if you dont have one now, defintially invest in a cage if your getting a 12 bar. ive had mine stall a few times on me. but if the bike is still nice i would hold off and get an f4i or something cuase its not worth beating it to ****.
