Tip: Mod your FI cage slider like i did

less leverage when it falls. cut it down to the welds and re-drill a hole for teh slider. i actually made that slider from a 1' piece of delrin i bought from mcmaster carr for $9. but you need a milling machine with a rotary table (liek i have) or a lathe

peace ****ers! :YEAH

not a good idea it defeats teh purpose...the fi cage has sliders to keep it from rolling up , but in turn they bend sumtimes...a 905 type cage rolls up but it wont bend or damage teh motor mounts....so kno u have a cage thatll will roll up ans still possibly bend.....so so rain on ur paraade, but eld that peice back on

I think he cut it down shorter so it wont roll up as easy--shorter stalk=less leverage at point of impact to pull or bend the mount--am I correct?

all i have to say is the 905 is like 40 times more beefier than the FI and im not worried about it bending any time soon

thats funny cuz i was thinkin bout doing the exact opisite puting a peice of pipe on the end that is longer and much wider close to 2inch in diameter i think it would help it from rolling over even more.... but let us know how it worx the first few falls im curious
