Seat stander circles

I know this has come up a few times lately, but I'm starting this thread again. I just got back from stuntfest, and I want to get these down pretty quick. I'm still not quite sure how to turn them in....any suggestions? Everyone made 'em look so easy, but I can't get more than a quarter turn before I either highside or stall it. I'm geared +15 on my F4i, so I know I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know where to begin. Any tips on body position, speed, etc? I can do left handers with my foot on the peg pretty well, but I'm lost on this seat stander thing. Thanks!

Re: Seat stander circles

I Started A Thread Like This About Two Months Ago Lol. I've Gott'n Them Alittle Better Since Then. I Found That Your Best Shot Is To Almost Fall Into 'em W/ Alittle Speed. Lean Your Body In, And As Soon As You Feel The Bike Starting To Low Side Give Is A Small Bump On The Gas. The Bump Should Bring Ya Around And You Can Start Shifting Your Body And Weight From Inside The Circle To Outside And [back & Forth]. You Know The Drill As/brake/gas/brake. What Helped Me Alittle Was Looking At Them As Half Turns And Not Full Circles. Don't Get Me Wrong, I Can Still Only Do Two To Three Tight Ones Before I Get Lost In The Whole Thing Lol. Hope This Helps... Theirs So Many Kats Out There Today That Do These Like It's Old, Someone Should Be Able To Help Alittle More Then Me.

use the kill switch if it wants to high side and hop off until you get the feel for em down. lean it in and dont be scared of the gas. you gotta commit.

Re: Seat stander circles

air pressure helps a lot. I used to run 10psi and i couldn't get the bike to go more than 2.5 to 4. Then i would stall out from trying to throw it back in from almost highside.

Now i run 15psi, all the bike does is fall in . And i can get up to 10 and then i have no choice but to stop cuz im so dizzy. lol

thanks for all the advice, guys....I think it will help alot. Lb3, I like the kill switch idea. I think the thing that messes with me most is that I can't get on the clutch to save my *** like regular o's.

Rush, it was good to meet ya at stuntfest. I came away very impressed- you were killin' it! Thanks again, everyone. I'll post up with my progress this week.
