Re: skitching skiing help

if your talking about the back, then speed is your friend if you want to remount...and you will need to use alot of upper body strength to pull yourself back on. Otherwise, if it gets too slow, you can slow it down even more until you can run up beside the bike and jump back on.

if you are talking about the side, then if all else fails, just hop on the seat sitting sideways with both feet off and reposition yourself....or slow till you can jump back on.

Re: skitching skiing help

It's really easy... the easy and kinda cheaty way to do it:

Get your bike driving in a gear where it is not twitchy. Lean your weight onto the tank. Leave your wrists slack so you can still operate the bars without all your weight on them. (If that makes any sense to you) Then lift your right leg over to the left side. Keep your weight on the tank, then lift your left foot off too, don't try and stand on your feet just kinda hover, you should be able to lift yourself up and down without having to put any weight on your feet.

As you get better you can put more weight down and move further away from the bike.

When you want to get back on, lift your left leg first and put it back onto the peg. Then just swing your right leg back over. Easy peasy.

Remember.. you can stop at anytime with the front brake. Even if you find yourself falling off the bike, you can still grab that shiat.

Also, go to www.sektorxii.com (shameless plug) and watch 'Let it Begin' and 'Sparks' and 'Just messing around' theres some good skitching shots in there.

Good luck and any questions?
