electrical problems . . .some help

My bike only holds a charge for a couple of days, then there is barely any juice left, and the bike cant even kick over. Im on the third battery, which is new, so im sure thats not it. Rectifier looks fine as far as wiring. Stator possibly? How do it check? Thanks

Re: electrical problems . . .some help

alright , well . .. the rectifier negative output was fried, so i hooked that directly up to the battry. Now the rectifier worked, but teh voltage was fluxuating to the battery between 10-10.8. So i took out the stator, and two of the magnets sections were toasted. There was a shard of metal that was briding the two sections together. Im prettty sure this was the problem . . .now i gotta order a new stator and a radiator. .. i fukin hate gixxers . . .
