what program do you use to make the main screen to your DVD and all the different chapters to go to on the main screen, i greatly appreciate your help.

 

the new vegas video 5.0 and 6.0 come with something called dvd architect. It lets you build production quality menus and screens. Thats what i use

 

thanks man ive been on this trial vegas 5.0 for an hour now and been going crazy, aside from using trial versions of premiere and ulead and yes even stoop down to windows movie maker... im such a cheap bastard... what ever works i always say oh wait so like where do i find that option at went thru it again

 

I downloaded Vegas 4.0 and could't understand a single thing...haha...

Try and find the website for it. I can't remember what the devision of sony was called, sonic something i think. They have the manuals for all the versions and programs free to download in .pdf form.

i downloaded a program off lime wire, it works but not really any options its to basic, i think i better just come out the pockets and get the full version of vegas and stop phuckin around with this bullstuff

 

adobe premier pro 1.5 it's awesome for vid editing, dvd menu, not sure about that, haven't got to that stage yet.

Adobe makes a DVD authoring program. I can't remember what it's called, but I assume it is the ballz just like all of adobes other products. :YEAH

I believe Darius might be using a Mac for those? Have you thought of Final Cut Pro HD? If your a mac guy? I use the basic iDVD which has a lot of default themes. The Final Cut Pro HD has like 1 Mil options.

for free, like full programs used to anyway its been awhile since ive been there.
