Has anybody slapped dirt bars on a 04,05 Gsxr without using the full throttle setup? I was wonderng what type of risers you might have used and if you had to do anything special to the triple tree for it to work.

 

just drill out the tree and use a set of big bar universal risers..the ones w/o the rubber bushings..i think mine are answer cost like $40..i'll have to get some pics up.

 

i have a pair of TAG risers and fly dirtbars,i payed 30 for the bars and 50 for the risers,ill sell the set for $60

 

I got TAG risers and MOOSE Pro taper bars. I love them. Cost like 60-70 bucks for the whole setup I think. All you gotta do is drill your tripple and slap em on. Unless your brake line wont stretch far enough, or clutch cable. If it doesnt reach, its easy enough to go buy longer brake lines. I got a custom clutch cable too for like 20 bux thats plenty long enough. I doubt you would have to do that though.
