Yeah the backend starts to drift to one side. Do you shift your weight? I know you turn the wheel at the last min.

Re: 180 Endo/G-Turn

counter steer during the endo, you have to have enuff speed to carry you around but too much and you high side. so to go right u turn left and lean towards the right. tap the back brake b/f landing too.

Re: 180 Endo/G-Turn

Start with just a little tiny tiny tiny bit of steering imput. It's kind of a feel thing, it's really hard to explain. It's like a counter steering thing. in other words you lean just a little to one side and the bars turn ever so slightly to the other. I also change the height of the stoppie durring the 180, not sure if others do this but I like it. I use a scotts damper and dial it all the way up for long stoppies and 180s.

Like I said though, it's kind of a feel thing so just start with a very little amount of steering imput. If you give it too much you'll eat it. Also, if you lean to the wrong side, your screwed. GO SLOW, learning this. If your not 100% on a normal rolling stoppie,,,your not ready. Your stoppie needs to be totally natural before you start learning this. The first one I ever did was by accident. I was on a off camber road so the rear just started to come around but instead of just ending the stoppie I just road it out and leaned into it a bit, Looking back,, that probably wasn't smart. 180s take a lot of time learning at the begining at first your goal shouldn't be to do a 180 but just to steer it a little.

Re: 180 Endo/G-Turn

"I've tried them on my bicycle, i can only get around 90 degrees."

It's totally different with bicycle. With bicycle I can do 180, just do stoppie very high and tilt the steering column to the direction you want to turn. Rear starts to come around.

With 954 I can do almoust 90decrees. Usually it's by mistake. at the end of the rolling stoppie I just get it even higher and it just stays there longer and sometimes drops to the side. Can't fiqure the physics out yet.. Need more practice.

Re: 180 Endo/G-Turn

I used to be able to do 360° or more on my bmx, used to get a few over 540, you just have to be REALLY high. The higher you are the less the back of the bike has to spin, so it take less time to rotate and you can spin more distance in the same time. On the haro I'd start to stear into it and then grab a lot of brake and look where I wanted to go.
