i was just wondering if anyone could tell me wether it is better to learn to balance a wheelie going fast or slow. i can pick them up in 1st at like 5mph and up and then also i can get them up in 2nd and 3rd but which would be the best speed/gear to learn in/at.

Re: bp

Slow, it dosen't hurt as much when you fvck up. And you will.

Also, if you can control a slow balanced wheelie, the fast stuff will be cake.

Re: bp

all u sac ppl r squids! long time no talk, goin to cali twice in the next month, but doubt up that far... yeah u can pick them up at 5mph.. but u just end the wheelie with redlineing first... pick them up around 15-20 in 2nd gear.. doing standups and clutching.. and cover the brake, just get used to tapping it when u get scared... and eventually after a TON of practice, it'll all make sense, it's hard to explain what bp feels like, but basically u don't feel the bike anymore, it's really light, and u can feel that u're on the back of the tire... and your rpms will stay constant.. best thing to do is listen to the motor, and have slow throttle inputs... real gentle movement,, and once u hear that motor not goin rpms so fast, that means u're gettin close..good luck homie, wear your ****
