Does anyone know which idle cables are compatible to run on the f4i? I'm wanting to run a separate cable to keep the idle at a constant rpm. I've heard that 900rr cables work fine, but others have said that they don't work without some modification.

just about everything nick nacky like that with fit anything that has a CBR on the plastics.... **** I think those cables are even the same part #.. the carb rails and TB'sare made by pretty much only two diff companies for most sportbikes if that puts anything into perspective.

I've got a 96 900 w/
99 swingarm
954 forks and triples
f4I rim and calipers
EBC rotors. (couldn't find any 929/954's at the yard)..
600f3 Rectifier..... the list goes on and on...

 

yup, 900rr cable will work fo sho dirty. Just ordered mine at the dealer for a whopping $13.42

 

Thanks for all the input. I picked up a 900rr cable at the local salvage yard over the weekend for $10 and it works great.
