Whats up fellas and lads I am new to the site and just wanted to say that it kicks a$$. I've been riding for about 1&1/2 years now and need some advice on how to get the front of my 600RR up. I've heard from other sites that it is the hardest 600 to get up due to motor positioning. I am wondering if any of you RR owners could help me out. I've been told that 1st gear wheelies are not as safe but after reading the post on wheelies, the professional says otherwise. I've never RODE a wheelie just poped it up I am looking for some advice so I dont screw up my baby. i know, "then keep the front wheel on the ground" but what fun is that.

if you cant afford to mess up your RR it would be good to find a dirtbike or some POS to try learning on first... like anyone will tell you, u will **** up your bike stunting.. my f3 was cherry and i went down last christmas eve just learning standups...

get a fiddy and a dirtbike and learn to wheelie them first, thats what i did (well i didnt get a real fiddy at first but a yamaha ttr)and i was wheelieng my 900 from day one without any streetbike experiebce, and i am wery surpriced how easy it is. thought it would take months to get where i am at, but after 2 weeks i got:pretty slow wheelies(on thr brake),seat standers,flamingo,crappy stoppies,crappy 12´s and i havent even got a cage yet.

if i had not learned to wheelie dirtbikes first i would have trashed the 900 on day 1 FOR SURE

a 600rr is far too nice a bike for learning
