Re: help on slow 12s

I've never seen you ride so can't say too much but a problem i had was that i tried to use body english too much to control the wheelie rather than just keeping my body tight and trusting my rear brake ability to keep the wheelie steady.

You know what i mean? I'd lean back heaps as it came up and then move my whole body right forward to help bring it down again if i was too close to scraping. Then hitting the gas too hard to overcome my body pushing the wheelie back down.

It took me a while to just trust my rear brake and idle/throttle and just keep my body neutral on the bike.

Hope this helps?

Re: help on slow 12s

So your able to park them but you can't keep them rolling. Is that what your saying? Funny I can roll them slow but I can't park for ****. I just let it sit at BP or just past while tapping the brake to keep it from hitting the bar. I'm terrible at explaining this **** but taping myself seemed to help me alot.

Re: help on slow 12s

my gearing is 2 down in front and 50 in rear. And i also use alot of body english. Plus my tire pressure is at 15.

Maybe I did say it wrong. I want to bust em slow enough to do no handers .

Re: help on slow 12s

just pop it faster, slow it with the brake...that's the whole philosophy...

Re: help on slow 12s

I'm still learning them myself, and can roll em pretty slow, but can't park for ish. Just hang off the back of the bike, and use slight "taps" of the rear brake to keep the bar off the ground. If you hold the brake too long, you'll bog the motor too low into the RPMs, to where it won't have enough torque to pull the front back up if it goes below bp, so then you'll hafta add some throttle too it.
