for some reason it's just conking out on me for no reason. you guys have any ideas why this is? in first gear just taking off and it dies sometimes. I think it could be because of the pipe which made me remove the wires going to the servo and removing the wire for the fuel injector crap under the seat in the bos??? Hell I dunno let me know what you think or if you had this happen.

i have the same bike whatever u disconnected make sure u reconected and if its troubling u like right as u start ridin ride with the choke on for about 2 min then try it otherwise ur just not clutchin right or something

 

04 gixxer shouldnt have choke...fuel injected.
maybe im wrong?

 

Ya im with Tims on this one.....There is no choke its all electronic ...First go over whatever you changed...Twice three times if you have to..same thing happened to me ,then i checked my work over and found a wire came loose ..Next whatever company you bought the pipe from see if they have a Tech line or a # to call ...Next try Gixxer.com lots of helpful info there

 

have you check your tipover sensor ?

 

the exhaust shouldn't do it, i've done that to both my 1000's and they ran fine. just make sure it was the BLACK wire with the BROWN wire that you pulled out!!! As far as the bike dying out, first you havet o determine if it is an electrical problem or a mechanical one. could it be that your clutch is beat?!? or is it that the FI is cutting out??? it can be a 1000 different things. check over the bike, make sure you pulled the right wire, tell us all that you have done to it. try to give us a bit more info and we'll try to help you out. good luck keep us posted
