Big Bike Wheelie?

I ride a 99 Hayabusa to start with. We all know that this bike will life the front tire with no problem. The problem that I have is that the bike is still pulling so hard with the front tire up that it feels like its trying to pull me off the back. I am not trying to get this this up to 12o'clock but I would like to be able to ride one out. Any help would be great. BTW I have dropped the front sprocket down 2 theeth and I have all of the bolt on parts.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you want to go up in the front, or down a few teeth in the rear?

Feels like your being pulled off the back, b/c you are really. once you get that burst of momentum from bringing up, anything not bolted/screwed/zip tied to the bike becomes a victim of momentum. Just get a good footing on your pegs and a firm grip and once your body gets moving the same speed as the bike you'll be rockin blox.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't you want to go up in the front, or down a few teeth in the rear?
only if your dislexic!

I have heard that I need to bring it up in third and standing up. I have never do this before, is there anything that I need to look out for (i.e. huge mistakes?) I don't want to end up on my *** at 100mph if you know what I mean. Thanks for the info.
