BWAHHAHAHAHHAHAH f-cking korno! 636 is a race bike and an f4i is like a honda goldwing high clip ons (the only thing the 636 needs) soft seats, upright rider position...f-cking soft suspension...saddle bags....radio...ya feel me?

I dig both bikes. If I got an f4i instead of the 636 I'm sure I'd like it more. but now I got the 636 and it works well. I'll never step through w/ the clips on down there. But I may have done a high chair circle w/ all the farings on....who knows that's for the video to say.

Better than the F4i in all aspects except for toughness when dropped. Easiest way I can put it. I was dead set in an F4i until I spent 5 minutes on a 636. It's just that much better.

That was true with the early 90's Ninjas. Pretty much anything from '95 up has a decent transmission, and the 6r's, 9r's from '98 up have the smoothest trannys I have ever shifted. I had a '00 ZX9R and it shifted sooooo smoooooth. The exception to these years would be the ZX6E model. That had a CLUNKY trans in it.

Even so, I think Yamaha has made the worst transmissions of all time until recently they seem to have fixed it. I saw a number of YZF600R's, R1's, and R6's lose second gear. The problem was they only had three engagement dogs on each gear. Most bikes have 5. Real smart Yamaha........save a few ounces of weight, only to create a huge durability problem in the longrun.
