Thanks for all the imput.
The u bolts should hold because there is holes through the bar and in the rear its bolted at a junction where it won't move forward or backward.

The u bolts should hold because there is holes through the bar and in the rear its bolted at a junction where it won't move forward or backward. but it looks like I might need to chop it down some so it sits right at the end of the tail
