I have been ridin for 7 years & stuntin for the last 3..I just now decided to build my bike into a stunt bike...I dont know too much about it ( I dont think) so I took it upon myself to order a few things for the spring..I got a 60 tooth rear sprocket, 12 bar & crash cage (Freestyle inginuity)..& incase of "selling emergency" I got a set of NEW OUT OF THE BOX body work...what else do I need....Oh I also got a season supply of FREE oil changes...sooo now what else do I need???

Any help Is good help!!

dont forget to overfill the oil a bit. But thats once you get your wheelies nice and high and your ridin them for a while. And wear some kind of knee/shin gaurds.

You NEED to give up on the thought that your bike is gonna stay minty or be resellable for anywhere near what you paid for it if you are going to "hardcore" stunt it. Yeah, you can get away with doin wheelies and stoppies and little stuff. But if you are gonna work on the NEW and harder tricks, slow stuff, etc, you are gonna break a lot of stuff. Sorry, that's just how it goes. My suggestion to you would be to sell that minty new body work, save a little more loot, and but a salvage stunna from a yard. www.tocc.biz and argocycles.com both have em!!! It will save you loot in the long run!!!

You should see my before and after pictures. Bought it for $6300, sunk in about $2500.00 in minty type upgrades and can't even get $2000.00 now.

Re: what else do I need???

over filling the oil helps on oil starvation from the bike being up in a wheelie for along time. I usually put in an extra 1/2 qt in my Hizonda. Other bikes are more natorious for starving themselves of oil up in a wheelie (gixxers) But either way it doesnt hurt the bike to have extra oil in it

Re: what else do I need???

ok, OVERfilling the oil is simply putting in an extra 1/2 quart to a quart EXTRA oil (more than what the bike is supposed to have in it) that way when you are carrying a high wheelie (highway, slow roll, coaster) your motor doesn't starve for oil, it will prolong the life of the motor. Just don't go crazy and fill it tooo much cause that is bad for the crankcase seals!!!

You still didn't tell us what kind of bike we're talkin about, it makes a difference cause different bikes need different mods!

So lying to someone when selling a beat up "minty looking" bike is ok? Some people really kill me....]

Stock up on rear tires, I have 10 at home but you are too far for me to ship em.

Re: what else do I need???

Definatly need shin guards with the 905 style cage. I don't care how tough or how tough you think you are. Its ****in hurts without them.

As for the mint fairings, do yourself a favour and sell em!! They are worth a ton of $$$ on ebay, and if your stunting it hardcore you'll never need them. Fairings will never fit properly on your bike again. All of the brackets, mounts and your birdcage will be bent up etc... Your also guaranteed to put a ding or at least a nice scratch in the frame too, making it hard to sell as a 'mint' bike.

Destroying a $10,000 bike isn't an easy thing to come to reality with, but get used to it, cause its fun!

Re: what else do I need???

I would cut your brake and clutch lever down so they don't break when you bail. Maybe a spare set of pegs would be good, and I wouldn't worry about a hand brake until you are smooth on your slow stuff.

YES!!! Zip ties are a stunters best friend!! When bolts no longer line up, or when the plastic breaks, zip ties work everytime. I have so many "stiches" on my bike it rediculous. Gotta Love em!
