I use just straight water in mine, because i live in florida and my bike stays in a garage (it wont freeze if i dont have antifreeze). You can also run it with your existing coolant. You dont use the whole bottle either.
thanks! i run eng. ice now and not to fond of it, for what it cost and the hype it got. im gonna chk that wtr weter out.

Is it hard to wire up a switch like that for the fan. Anyone doing this at all?

I'll find out when I try to do it. I few weeks ago I did a switch for the headlight and that wasn't too hard. Fan shouldn't be much harder. Just find the wire, cut it, and hook each end of the wire to the switch.

If your temps never get below freezing, just use water and water wetter. That will cool the best. Otherwise use 50/50 with a couple ounces of water wetter.

Re: What kind of coolant do you use in your stuntbike?

I have a 2000 929- runs hot all the time during slow stuff- I added some Water Wetter to the coolant, didn't seem to do much. They say on the bottle its better to drain system and run a more concentrated mix of Water Wetter and water. Now I drained it all out and added straight Engine Ice. I'm hoping it works. I have my fan set-up to turn on with a switch and I pretty much run it all the time in the parking lots. If anyone has added the extra fan to they're bike put some pics up for me, I wasn't sure how to mount it. I'll let you guys know how that Engine Ice works - for the price I expect frost to build up on my motor.

All of those additives don't do ****!!! just run water and some anti-freeze (yes it needs some anti-freeze even if it never gets below freezing around you. The anti-freeze helps the water disperse heat. Im not goin to get technical, just do it, lol.

I personnly have given up on careing what is in my bike. I have no idea right now. I do know that to date i have used:

Anti-freeze
Water
gatorade
beer
Redbull
soda
and just about anyhting else that is wet and laying around
right now i think there is a combo of water, little bit of anti-freeaze and some redbull and its been working great!!!

you have to bypass the thermostat, otherwise it will still turn off outomatically when it cools down a little.
