04 GSXR 1000 NEED tTO CUT LEFT FAIRING FOR FI SLIDERS??

04 GSXR 1000 NEED tTO CUT LEFT FAIRING FOR FI SLIDERS??

hEY I WAS wanting to put a set of the extended sliders on my mint piece and was just wondering if anyone knows If I'll have to cut the left fairing or not?? lemme know

or even a cage did anyone have to cut their fairing for a fi cage??

I did on my '00 750.. only on the sprocket side.. and just a little bit.. you can't even tell.

Whatever you do, don't get no-cut sliders. They're weak. You def want the ones that bolt directly to the engine. If you have to cut the fairing, cut the fairing.

on the 1000, you dont have to cut any holes, they mount up directly to the motor mounts and the mounts are exposed

yea I know about dropping them I just wanted to know if I HAVE to cut the fairings or not
