Frame sliders for'03 636 (not the short ones)

What's a good palce to find some frame sliders for a '03 636. I have often seen the short ones on several bikes but they dont stick out as much as I would like them to. At the same time I dont want to have crazy long sliders. This bike I just picked up is my streetbike and wont be stunted.. I just want some "in case" protection. The 636 is a popular bike here so does anyubody have pointers.

take a look at MXD's track cage, you can paint it or get it chromed and it would still look good. As far as frame sliders, I've got a cage, but have always heard that a lot of them break off and rool down your plastics and tear them up even more. Take a look at Vortex sliders, have heard they are good company when it comes to that stuff.

When it comes to frame sliders, you want them to be short. IF not, they'll just bend or break. I've always heard good things about the vortex sliders.

my website is www.mxdcages.com needs some work still

im picking up the 636 next monday so i dont have track cages just yet. i do have some polished stainless extended sliders that will fit any bike however. they have delrin sliders in the end too. let me know if thats something you are interested in. they are 5 1/2" long, but i can make some shorter ones if you dont want them that long.

The ones I had were not long enough and the Vortex aren't long enough either. I recommend getting the Freestyle Ingenuity extended frame sliders.

I've seen them in action and they bend on the first drop.

Did they protect the plastic though? If so you just saved $300 on that side piece that is if you are replacing it w/ new.

Same here.... I dont car if it bends on a lowside... IT HAS TO...

BE LONG ENOUGH so that it will save my fairing
BE THE NO CUT intallation, no holes in my oem plastic.

just about every slider bends on the first drop. thats why you need to get a track cage, so you dont go spending 300 in sliders, when all you have to do is replace the delrin slider
