F4i frame help!!!

I was wondering what you guys thought about this dented frame. Can it be fixed or is that big of a deal. I'm thinking about buying this bike, it is has a clean title with it. My main concern is resale. Suggestions???

Re: F4i frame help!!!

according to any insurance co that thing is totalled for sure, just depends what u want outta it, but the dent isn't really gonna change the way it rides, but obviously it took a HARD fall, so make sure everything else is straight..

Re: F4i frame help!!!

I was lookin at that bike on ebay too. To me, its a good deal (but too far away) but if you want to resell it, its a risk.

He said that everything else on the bike is straight, but you think a fabricator could make it look like it was never there?

Re: F4i frame help!!!

It would probably cost one of you nuts, but you can fill it in with body filler. ie BONDO. Id buy it for the right price of course

Re: F4i frame help!!!

Yea I think body filler is the way to go on it, I talked to the guy who does a lot of fabrication for me and he said that if he tried to weld on it that the frame would be more likley to crack he also suggested body filler.
