Cutting the tail

what do you use to cut your tail section or any other fairings for that matter?? Any definite do's or do not's??

I used a utility knife, file and tinsnips... yup.. I'm sure theres a billion better ways.. but it comes out pretty good!

Tin-snips, plastic hack saw blade, dremel tool and sand paper... take your time, you can always take more off, but you can't put it back (well you can but its a hell of alot more work)

scribe a line w/flat head screw driver ,then break w/pliers works fine

Razor blade works, just be careful not to slip and scratch the rest of the tail.. or your finger

maybe some sizers. or a steak knife cuz those are pretty sharp.

lmso.. in my early repair days, I bought a propane torch and tried to do a fender eliminator on my SV650S.. I cut most of the fender, then tried to heat a part of it so I could bend the plastic down.... I set the whole fvckin thing on fire... it was pretty funny.
