Here Is The Deal I Need Some Feed Back On The Sub Frame And Frame Issues. What If Any Problems Are You Having. I Have Been Off The Bike For About A Year And Getting Back In To It.

Please Help And I Need Owners To Answer Up I Do Know That Not A Whole Lot Of Peeps Are Ride The R1 But If You Are Hit Me Back!
My Main Issue Is 12's Ready To Set It Back Just Need To Know How It Will Hold Up. ON THE 02 03 BIKES!!! NOT THE 01 AND OLDER!

well my subframe seems to hold up pretty well. i had a couple of really good hit to the ground with a cage on of course. and my bike is still running good. i think an long as your not slaming the 12 into the ground your frame and subeframe should be ok. i had some hard hitting 12s but everything stayed straight. i hear that the yamahas fall apart easy, and that might be true but so far so good for me. i seen one clip of a guy that ate it hard on his r1 and the subframe was bent up almost to the back of his head. but it never snapped off the frame. and the guy rode the bike home. this is me and my bike.

i have a silver tail section if any r1 stunters need 1 , hey doesnt the oil light come on alot? when i pass 2 mile wheelie on the r1 my oil light comes on and stays on you guys over filling?

my oil light comes on to while wheelin. once i set it down the light will turn off in about 30 sec. i just make sure its full of oil and its all good.

now that im good at 12s i rode my boys 02 r1 and it a sterdy bike

through some extra oil in it you have sort of an oil resavore in you oil pan so even though your oil lite comes on you have about 30 seconds befor your motor is dry
