If you could stunt any bike...

If you could pick ANY bike, any CC what would you choose? you guys like the 900CC bikes better than a 600? you like hondas better that kawi'es. I have a kawi ZX7R, but i am looking into getting another "beater" for palyin. most of the guys i talk to at home are kinda brand loyal('zukies are god, there is nothing else). keep in mind this is stunting only. theres no doubt that a 1000CC is gunna kill a 500 in the 1/4, but doing alot of slow stuff....which would you choose?

Re: If you could stunt any bike...

Everyone has told me, Honda F4i. Good balance, light, and can handle a beating. As opposed to a Kawi 636, where parts and panels fall off, or whatever else. So I'd say F4i.

Best all around is the F4i. Cheap, parts are cheap and plentiful, take a beating, frames and subframes are super tough, etc...

I was going to get one until I rode a 636, I loved it and had to get one.

636's are awesome bikes. The extra displacement really helps in torque and power overall. The balance on it is good as well, since the gas tank is actually under the seat, and the actual tank holds an airbox, making the center of gravity a little more towards the back. The only problem w/ 636's and stunting, is that: To make the 636 lighter, it uses a lot of magnesium parts as opposed to aluminum (rearsets, pegs, shifters, etc.) Magnesium is good, except that it breaks easier than aluminum does. Also, the mounts on the fairings break off hella easily.

Don't kill me for wat I sed, if I sed anything wrong, just correct. I don't own a 636, i just know what I know from my friend's bike who crashed his recently

Katana's they rock all day long.
Actually, I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone say gix 750's yet, I just bought one and need to figure out how to get it to my house from an hour and a half away.

Other than the part about the gas tank under the seat your pretty straight on the 636 info.

Hahah.. Gix750's are nice bikes to stunt. Right in between. Not as heavy as a Liter bike, but w/ more power than a 600. BUT... they're still heavy as a beginner bike. I tried learning a few things on my friend's Gix750, but it was just a lil' heavier than what I'm used to. Then again, I'm 5'8, and 128lbs. And I'm used to workin' w/ a Zuki GS500, and GSXR600.

Dude.. u rock a Katana?? Not hating, it's prolly a good bike, but I've rarely seen anyone rock katanas for stunt. Madd props to ya bro. . . . I personally wouldn't recommend a V-Twin for someone who's just getting started. I do it, and sometimes, it feels like more pain, than gain . . . .

Hahah.. I wouldn't doubt that EX250 either. You can throw those things around like a coked out *****.. MSF class was fun w/ those things.

Re: If you could stunt any bike...

yeah, most of the feedback i get is that the f4i's are the best. I had a chance to get a '94 for $1500, but a few things make me shaky about it. now i cant find one for less then 3000.

I'd stunt out a $30,000 Aprilia or Duc and beat it to death. Damn I hate those rich-man bikes.

Re: If you could stunt any bike...

yup, $1500. BUT!!!!!! mad flat spot in the chain, needed to be "rejetted" front forks were shot, had 25,000miles on her, and she was pritty beat when i saw her. it also needed a rear tire, and had been laid down. thre was a bunch of other little things buti figured to get her back into shape would cost another G at least and for 2500-3000...well...you get the pic.....
