f4i VS gix 600/750

i've been trying to find me an f4i, but i can't find one anywhere around this bum F town. i might have to settle for a gixxer 600 '03. i know i hear about people saying they blow motors alot. besides that, how is it as a stunt bike. now when i say stunt bike, i don't know if i'll ever get into the slow stuff. alot of high speed wheelies and endos. will the engine blowing still come in affect either way??? how is it as far as durability. that's why i wanted a honda cuz i hear they are built pretty tough. gixxer's same way or are they kinda like yamahas, FRAGILE.

Hummm, well 4 out of 6 stunters we roll with, have gixxers. The only motors I have ever seen blowen were 2 hondas???? I see first hand the gixxers taking more hits and not brea king as oppose to the Hondas?? Same cages too!

Re: f4i VS gix 600/750

I don't have first hand experience with any 600/750's, but my buddy w/ a 04 1k stunts the hell out of it with no problems. He doesn't go slow stuff at all, just highspeed and stoppied/endo's. Besides the motor problems, i've only heard that the subframes are weak, and the tabs and the subframe itself need bracing.

Re: f4i VS gix 600/750

the f4i's seem to be more popular around here, but that doesn't mean the gixxer isn't a good stunt bike. i've never heard of any major motor problems on a gixxer, especially a newer one. the f4i's can really take a beating...they get thrown around all the time...get picked back up and it's still smooth sailin'. i've never owned a gix 6, or an f4i, but i've rode both, and both impressed me. b4 i could tell which one i liked better, though, i was back on my 636 it's a toss up, but both are good bikes for stuntin'. still i think the f4i's take the cake when you compare the 2.

Re: f4i VS gix 600/750

I've ridden both.

It really depends on you which bike you should get. For faster stuff, I'd take a Gixxer. For all around stunting, the F4i. My brother, who has wheelied both bikes within minutes of each other several times, says that the F4i wheelies much easier and much more smoothly.

You got a little brown left on your nose, may want to wash it off.

Talking Re: f4i VS gix 600/750

Hey whats up,
I have an 02 gixxer 750 and I love it. My friend let me ride his 03 f4i for a day and that thing is so light compared to mine I dont feel in control of it at all. I feel like the thing is going to brake underneath me. I have never heard of a 750 motor blowing unless you want to blow it. I have not learned the slow stuff yet but with all the fast wheelies and sketches and sh** like that I feel comfortable as hell on my bike. I will ride 750's until the day I die. Although I have heard the 954 is a badass bike, I have not ridden one yet cause I am afraid I will want to buy one. anyways I would suggest to any rider to just ride what they want and feel comfortable with.

Re: f4i VS gix 600/750

for aggressive stunt riding, i would go with a honda. But if you just wanna learn how to do a wheelie or 2 and want more *****, go with the suzuki.

But more than likely you'll love doing wheelies and you'll want to progress to stunt riding , so in other words.....get the honda
