Convert DV Video Camera File to .wmv
Convert DV Video Camera File to .wmv
I dident know where to put this, so I figured I would put it here. With all you guys converting your videos to .wmv formats maybe someone could advise me.
We just shot a video of me in my old junk truck doing doughnuts until it blew up on a Sony PDX-10 video camera and we have no idea how to get it to a format that we can have on our computers. This video was hilarious!! This thing would not blow up!! Any help appreciated!!

Re: Convert DV Video Camera File to .wmv
assuming you have a pc with windows xp...
1. transfer the video from the camera to the computer using a firewire cable with the program winDV (http://windv.mourek.cz) into avi format.
2. edit the avi with adobe premire (get that with bearshare)
3. render as an avi in adobe premire
4. go to windows movie maker (all xp computers have that), open the video file, and save as a wmv
