I have a 02 600r and i cant get it up in 2nd i tried clutching and every thing what can i do

 

It should do it,try bouncing the front end and throwing more RPM's and clutch at it.

 

i dont think its possabile to come up in 2nd.

 

just keep working on it with a smaller bike like that u have to just get the rythm down just right. you should be able to cluch it, and make sure your not leaning to far forward. also try putting your left foot on your back peg it makes it so much easier, youll get it.

 

rev at higher rpms

 

thanks i have tried the left foot on the back peg but still got to get use to it it feels weard standing like that or just standing i will try some more when the fricken snow goes away

 

yeah work on the rear peg stance,and try bouncing/clutching it a little harder,BTW welcome to stuntlife.

That bike will come up 1st-3rd. it's all technique and practice.

keep at it trying different stuff. practice bringing 1st gear up w/ the clutch and your foot on the back peg. keep working on that until you can bring it to balance point from almost a dead stop (yes it's doable). Once you're doing that you've got enough clutch and throttle control to bring it up in other gears. put at least a -1 front sprocket on. it's a whole different bike with just a little gearing. good luck.

 

Our boy Hawk here in the Dallas, TX area has been rocking a YZF-600R for a while now, and he's got 2nd gear stand-ups on lock. I know he's geared a little...or a lot...maybe 2 down, 2up, but he's got that **** down tight. Just gear that bitch, and throw a bunch of clutch at it.

can u say photoshop theres no way any one can do a wheelie on any one of these bike i dont care what kind of bike it is.

 

lmso.. if I could wheelie a ninja 250, that bike'll come up in second.

hahahah.. My stock gearing, stock jetted Suzuki GS500e, can make it up in 2nd.. Of course, that's throwing all the revs I can on it, and snappnig the clutch, but IT COULD BE DONE. When I swapped to a -2 front sprocket, thing goes up in 2nd anytime my tires would bite enough for it=)

 

just practice standing and bouncing the front suspension it'll come up
