it's all right there.
If you had the cash for it, I'd go with the Ohlins

though true, Ghostrider told me to buy an Ohlins. I must obey him.

The Ohlins damper is a piston type which can get damaged if you drop your bike a certain way, the scotts however is a rotary and takes up less space, it also has no moving parts outside of the casing. A Scotts is every bit as good as an Ohlins for racing anyway, and I've heard that from lots of guys who race AMA.
yea, but you didn't hear it from "the" Ghost rider. Hey man, it's his own dicision. I could rap two rubber bands around my bars and call it a damper if i wanted to.
ya know you didn't need to say like half that stuff? I already said "though true" as in, yeah i agree. doesn't change the fact that i'd still buy a Ohlins, cause ghostrider told me.
and yes, if ghostrider told me to jump off a bridge, I'd do it

well, shugga allows me to post in this section, and I was giving him my personal opinion. I said that I would go with the ohlins. my decision. I didn't say he should buy it, i just said that if i had the money, i'd get it.
Plus, what is a damper for? Coming down off wheelies at like 80-100 MPH. to keep from getting head shake/tank slappers. The ohlins does that for GR, so it works for me. He wants a GPR, get it.
I also gave him something no one else did, a LINK.
www.Kneedraggers.com
there he can CHOOSE his OWN damper, no matter what I say it won't chane another person's mind. All poeple's decisions are their own.
If he sees this argument, he'll say "well, better be safe than sorry" and get the GPR.
Or he could say "If GR says it, I MUST DO IT!" just like me.
BTW, GR told me i gave good advice compared to the rest of guys my age

it's also about acceleration, and other things. but still, the GPR will hold up better then the ohlins. I was referred to Ohlins by GR, I've seen his 499 HP busa, and if he can come down off a wheelie at 186 MPH in rain, and it doesn't wobble, I think I'd pick that.

haha, does ghostrider know you ride a girls mtn bike? seriously everyone is going to have a favorite of something, but you have never tested any of this stuff..you ride a BICYCLE..you think you know everything there is to know about sportbikes or stuntbikes because you've read it somewhere..that doesnt always apply in real life..when your old enough to get a bike or can afford one you'll see that everything changes when your riding that bike down the road...everyones told you this...and i dont know what size sprocket hes running now but the two times i practiced with him he had some steep *** gearing on his bike..

yeah, of course GR knows.
like i said, i was referred to Ohlins by GR, so that's my pick, because i haven't heard of anyone else TESTING the others, they could be junk. I KNOW the Ohlins works well.
The reason you think i think i know everything about streetbikes is because when every i come across something i haven't heard of, I ASK about it instead of ASSUMING.
then you ASSUME he can't go over 80, instead of ASKING.
Lemme put it to you like this.
If you here something from someone you TRUST, then someone you've never seen, who could be a child molester for all you know, comes and tries to say that what you are saying is wrong and what the other person said was GARABAGE. Who would you go with? If Tony D came up and said that the gearing on your ZX-7R is a good setup, then someone calls you on the phone and says it's garbage and you need to add more to the rear, who would you beleive?
Re: Where to find dampners!
i dont have to ask,ive ridden with him 2 times, you can see he has a huge sprocket and he takes his bikes around in a truck...its geared steep...i try to give people advice because i ride the streets,i fix my own **** with it breaks and i hang around with other riders and learn from them...you on the other hand have no experiance street riding or stunting, and you have nothing to prove you do..i have hours and hours miles and miles riding the streets, stunting, and fixing/tweaking my sportbike.you talk to people like you know what your talking about, like you've done it yourself countless times, its cool if you have a link for someone, but giving real life advice about stunting or streetriding when you have no experiance is straight up B/S and theres crap loads of people on here that will agree,im not trying to hate,i cant stand haters but i have a point and lots of riders here will agree with me..dont hijack peoples threads talking to me like im wrong or dont know what im talking about..im leaving this matter closed if you have anything more to say to me about it send me a PM on here..
