Re: learning basic wheelies check this link out

I've watched every single one of this mans videos from basic sit downs to stand ups to holding stands up...

But since your on this haha

Today i was trying to do 2nd Gear stand ups .. i could barely get it up at all.. i got the front tire maybe a half foot off the ground.. sad..i was riding about 3.5-4k rpms and revved up to 10k... i don't know what i'm doing wrong..

and i was also trying to do slow 1st gear wheelies and everytime i slipped/popped the clutch my tire would just spin.. i have about 27psi in my rear..

this is totally different from the stunt f4i i stunted on its a completely stock 03 gix 600 .. any tips?!?!

Re: learning basic wheelies check this link out

should have stuck with the f4i lol perfect stunt bike iv heard that the gixxers are **** for stunting but if your revving it up from 4k through to 10K in second gear STOOD UP and its still not coming up it should be doing, you must be doing something wrong make sure your slipping your clutch as quick as you can try lowering your rear tyre pressure im running about 18 psi, you'll get miles more grip if you lower yours and that should stop the spinning READ AROUND THE FORUM EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW IS ON IT!!!

Re: learning basic wheelies check this link out

you don't think 27 is low enough for tire pressure i didnt want to go to low cause i ride it on the street.. i don't really use this bike for to much stunting except like 20-40mph wheelies and short endos to practice.. i try bouncin the front end but it didnt work out.. also my bike is stock.. no cage no sprocket no frame sliders no exhaust nothing just flush mounts and a tail light full fairing.. i'm not worried about dropping the bike at all of course i'm gonna try to avoid it tho lol
